From the breath of the earth

Documentation of an area whose land releases energy in the form of heat. Fumaroles, mofete, geysers, boraciferous soffioni, natural springs, sulphur and heat are the protagonists of this area of Tuscany, between the provinces of Pisa and Grosseto. Natural phenomena that are an expression of the intense geothermal activity that has characterised the subsoil of these areas for thousands of years and that sees its exploitation as a resource for the production of electricity as well as heat for domestic use.
"From the Breath of the Earth" wants to be a visual research aimed at offering a documentation of this reality with a focus on its relationship with the landscape itself.
